I was really happy with this. The second book in a trilogy typically annoys me but this was well done. Most of the time there is so much character building that the plot doesn't move forward at all and the pacing gets slowed down too much. But here the pacing was still quick and the characters were build through the events rather than just long passages of explanation and conversations.
I am really excited for the third book.
